Tale of Two Closings Insights from Dave & Travis

We had two closings this week that couldn’t have looked much more different.

At 342 Eyak Drive in Anchorage, we helped a buyer purchase a fourplex through a VA loan assumption. We first connected with him back in February, and it took about 140 days to finally get this one closed.

That’s a long time.

But the payoff? He was able to take over an interest rate of about 3%. For an investment property in today’s market, that made the extra time and work worth it.

Then there’s 6102 S Ghada Circle in Wasilla.

We connected with our sellers in April after Tayler, who is active-duty Air Force, was redeployed to Oklahoma. The home was on the market for 32 days, and about 40 days later we were at the closing table.

Interestingly, after going under contract, Tayler learned that the buyer is also Air Force and they have similar positions. Small world. We’re thankful for both of their service to our country.
