Property Description

REMOTE 15-ACRE TRAPPER LAKE CABIN WITH SPECTACULAR DENALI VIEWS & 400+ FT OF LAKE FRONTAGE

Experience the beauty, adventure, and solitude of the Alaskan wilderness with this exceptional 15-acre waterfront retreat on Trapper Lake. Featuring a 1,152 sq. ft. cabin, more than 400 linear feet of lake frontage, abundant wildlife, and breathtaking views of Denali, Mt. Foraker, and Mt. Hunter, this is a rare opportunity to own a truly special piece of Alaska.

The comfortable cabin is designed for remote living and features warm hickory cabinets, a spacious kitchen island, propane heat, and a Blaze King wood stove. The full-size loft is the same size as the main level and has been drywalled, with the first coat of drywall mud already applied, ready for you to complete to your liking.

Enjoy the outdoors from the spacious 16' x 20' deck, or follow the boardwalk to a scenic viewing deck overlooking Trapper Lake. From the viewing deck, a short 50-foot walk along the shoreline leads to the 15' x 10' floating dock. With over 400 feet of lake frontage, the possibilities for fishing, boating, wildlife viewing, hunting, and relaxing are endless.

The cabin offers a thoughtfully designed off-grid setup. Solar power provides 12-volt electricity and year-round lighting, while a generator provides 110-volt power for the washer and dryer located in the separate shed. A new on-demand water heater provides hot water for the shower.

A thoughtfully designed roof rainwater catch system transfers rainwater to a 275-gallon IBC container for showering, washing dishes, and laundry. During dry periods, a backup groundwater supply is pumped from a cistern and processed through a multi-stage filtration system, including particulate and carbon filters, before being transferred to the IBC container for household use. Fresh drinking water is available from a nearby natural mineral spring that is piped to a central filling area for Trapper Lake cabin owners. The spring is tested annually by the local trail committee, allowing owners to conveniently fill 3- to 5-gallon containers with fresh drinking water.

Alaska's wildlife is all around, creating an incredible setting for experiencing nature up close. Moose, bear, wolves, eagles, loons, and other native wildlife can be seen throughout the area, adding to the authentic wilderness experience.

Access is part of the adventure! During the summer, arrive by floatplane and land near the floating dock. In winter, park at Susitna Landing at Mile 83 and travel approximately 8 miles, about 30 minutes by snowmachine, on a groomed trail across the Big Susitna River. A winter shortcut is also available, shortening the snowmachine ride when conditions allow.

The property is being offered fully furnished, with all furniture included, including an Alaska-style hide-a-bed. Also included is a 16' skiff with a new 20 HP Yamaha outboard and a newer four-wheeler with only approximately 60 miles.

An excavator and a 24' pontoon boat currently on the property are also available for purchase separately.

This is more than a remote cabin--it is your opportunity to own a private Alaskan retreat where the mountains, lake, wildlife, and wilderness become part of everyday life. Whether you're looking for an incredible hunting and fishing basecamp, a recreational getaway, a place to spend time with family and friends, or simply a peaceful escape from the everyday world, this extraordinary Trapper Lake property is ready for its next adventure.
